Redemption for Downtown

Wow, that is terrible. I am searching and searching and searching my memory and cannot for the life of me remember the guy I saw Monday afternoon, less than 48 hours ago. He was on the Upper East Side in the 70s... had to walk up to the top floor... shoot, I even remember seeing the Jewish thing in a doorway on my way up the stairs... but then the door opens and my memory is blank. Oh, wait, wait, wait... coming back a little... salt and pepper hair, late 30s, kind of cute, regular looking guy, a few extra pounds, not quite in shape. The sex was pretty good too. Evidently nothing much to remember, lol, but then that means it's not a bad thing either. I think his cock was ok, on the smaller side, but he was pretty good and I think I remember him lasting a respectable length of time.

Afterward I was flipping through some different things, deciding what I would do that evening. A very old *friend* I see sporadically resurfaced, he wanted me to come down to Chelsea in the early afternoon but then that got put back and we were going to get in touch later in the evening, leaving me with plenty of time to fill. I had received an email from a guy down in the financial district. Everything about the email looked good, except the financial district. One, it's on the opposite end of Manhattan, very far away, too far for a cab and requires a transfer on the subway to get there (HATE transferring). Two, except by the water, I hate it down there anyway. It's always cold, there's never any sun with the narrow streets and skyscrapers constantly under construction, scaffolding on every other block. Crowds of tourists and empty, lifeless people who live and work down there, as cold as the district (can't even call it a neighborhood, it is a district). But the main thing that sits in my craw... it's the guys.

Of anyone I'd ever met on CL I had yet to have a good experience with someone from the financial district. There were maybe two or three times the meet was actually even successful, but I've not liked the guys at all. All good looking, clean cut, decent enough guys but there's just something about them, some cold, ugliness that completely turns me off, like they're missing something important and not quite whole human beings. Some of the finance guys there's an initial attraction, they'll be charming and have a winning smile and personality. But then there it is, that missing element, inhuman.. dehumanizing. Overwhelmingly though, my experience with finance guys and the financial district, has been a complete waste of time. These are the guys who are notorious for making arrangements, often pressuring me to go out of my way to change my schedule around to their needs, have me go all the way down there... to wait. Sometimes they eventually do show up, or disappear completely, never to be heard from again, but never with any common courtesy call or message that they're late or can't make it. That, I can't stand! I am the most understanding person when it comes to busy schedules. This is NYC, shit comes up! But if you've made arrangements that include anyone else have the f'n decency to let them know plans have changed. If you can't show me that much respect then there is obviously no chance I'll sleep with you!

Prejudiced against the financial district for sure but I try not to overgeneralize stereotypes. (There's always the possibility there are good people out there, right?!) Cautiously I responded back, poking him about the financial district. He wrote back that he's in Battery Park and was not a "Financial Fuck!" Funny. His emails were fun, he seemed to have a good spirit about him... Oh, and late 20s, "very handsome," 6'3, Spanish Italian... Hmmm, sounds yumm! Ok, we'll roll the dice...

And this is why it pays to keep an open mind, my friend! I cannot tell you what an amazingly fun evening we had! Tentative plans for later were forgotten. From afternoon late into the evening, we spent the entire night together. His gf moved to Europe a week ago, I'm sure he's missing having her around. We sat on the couch and just hung out for a long while. He's funny, likes to be goofy, a complete cutie with a grin that goes ear to ear. We smoked, drank... just had one of those amazing nights when the rest of the world out there is somewhere else far, far away. Passionate, snuggly, rounds of hot sex... A long, wonderful evening that zipped by in a flash. Completely drunk, I passed out in the cab home and woke up the next morning still drunk.

He sent a few emails the next day, still high on the previous evening. Thoughts of him kept a smile on my face all day... Then I guess the high wore off, at the end of the night he sent an email that put a serious damper on any previous elation. Evidently he is now struggling with himself. He says it's the generosity. That's not really the issue though. I know exactly what it is. (And actually it's all too familiar...) He's a young, good looking, great guy. Excellent "bf material," the kind of guy girls would love to have and he'd be f'n wonderful to them. He is young though, and still convinced he is a monogamist. He's still in love with the idea of a "soul mate" or some such other ephemeral creature. Problem is he likes me too much. If I was maybe really dumb and super hot, that girl he could pay for sex, that wouldn't be a problem. Problem is he thinks feelings have to have labels and be put into neat little predetermined packages, as proscribed by popular lore. The problem is that he's confused by feelings that he thinks can only go in a certain specific arrangement but that arrangement is infeasible so he does not know what that means or what to do. He was struggling with it but still hopeful in his last email but I'll tell you what he is going to do, he is going to disappear. I sincerely doubt he'll be able to swallow a whole mind shift overnight. Give him a decade...

Last year there was a guy... Also 28, tall, funny, good looking cutie, a little goofy, wicked smart... Man we swept eachother off our feet when we met! Intense. We went out 4 or 5 more times but in the end it was the same, he liked me too much and couldn't reconcile that with the life he imagined for himself. Married guys a little older going through the stages of separation are coming to terms with the dissolution of their old assumptions about love and relationships. Guys who never get married usually aren't capable of being a good companion. Older, more mature guys seem the ones to have seen a few things in life and have had a few lessons about what relationships actually are and aren't. So in the end it's easier to be with the 50 something year old doctor who probably still wants to change me into something I'm not but who can at least accept, even appreciate that I don't come in a standard package. Well that's my theory on that right now anyway, lol.

Before I got that email at the end of the night though, yesterday was pretty good. Simultaneously drunk and hung over when I woke up I was still in an excellent mood from the previous night. An email from someone with a similar address to someone I've not seen all summer put me in mind to say hey. Happy coincidences, he had left work early for the day. Now this is a cutie p'tootie who would make a Terrible bf! Lol. Complete butthead, the epitome of a male pig... and I do say that lovingly ;) Good guy, good friend; terrible bf. Apparently he's gotten himself into a big ole mess now and some crazy he got involved with because he thought she'd be easy, lol. I told him you can't mess around with women who know eachother! That is just asking for trouble. But he's such a butthead he probably enjoys his li'l women's dramas and jealousies ;-p

He looked good, all tan and yummy, a little in need of a haircut. We had started way back long ago with massages. That was what it was for a long time but we've grown to be pretty good friends over the years. He appreciates a good massage, full body, head to toe, ears toes to fingertips. Way back when, the way he'd tilt his ass up, I figured out pretty quick where he has a soft spot. He made like it's something he occasionally kind of liked a time or 2 before... but of course nothing he really is into. We won't tell him but always, after every massage, there's his ass reaching out to be licked. And it's a very nice ass, perfectly round and juicy, certainly not your typical white boy ass, heheh. Crucially, his hygiene is always impeccable. We are in complete sync on the matter, he is always fresh out of the shower when I get there. (I don't care where I'm going, if I'm going anywhere it's hard to leave the house without a shower!)

Sucking on his ass he'll arch his back, raising himself up against my tongue. With space under him I'll reach under his balls, stroking his cock, sucking on his balls, rubbing my lips and tongue over all the sensitive spots... We won't stay there for too long (because well, he doesn't really like it, heheh) so I'll turn over and crawl under him, slipping his cock into my mouth. Can I fuck you? he asked me (which I always find amusingly P.C. of him). Though I suppose that's not really the right question, other way around! Flipping around and lying on his back, sucking on his balls while he put on his condom, I got on top of him. Lowering down and taking him all in (mmmm...) he nearly barked out at me, overexcited, Don't make me cum too quick! Teeheehe, too cute. I rode him slowly at first then worked him up into him nicely! Ah, he loved it and laughed about how much he came. Yes, I suppose that has been our best and longest.

Now it's midweek. Still quiet before the Labor Day weekend. Not bothering to do much today but Ice Cream's popped up... Seems he has a late meeting and will be getting a hotel in town tonight... But he is always such a tease.

Oh, I remember now that first guy I couldn't remember about, he grab/pinched my ass too hard when I was riding him. Sorry babe, there's not bigger love handles but geez! Give me a break! ;-p
P.S. My response to Corioliskid's question about the ad is posted in a comment to the last blog. I think I also posted a comment to you about your marital situation (if that was your post i found on loveshack.org, anyway). Hope you got it.
